Discerning a Future with Hope
Summer! We welcome the season! We’ll enjoy the sun and outdoor activities filled with adventure. This summer we get to explore with greater freedom. The old “normal” is past. We are different. Our world is different.
We are in a rare moment; a moment that we don’t want to miss. Now is the time to let God imagine new possibilities for us that give joy and purpose. This is a time to be courageous and be open to how God is inviting us into new priorities, values, and commitments.
In his ministry Jesus set people free to have life abundant. In his last conversation with his disciples (John 17), he inspired them to imagine a bright future. At this prayer retreat, we will “listen in” on the conversation. We will ask, “What was on the heart of Jesus?” The Holy Spirit will help us hear what is on his heart for us today. Come and join us! We’ll help you listen for one voice. Jesus!
